Given the Queen's lifelong interest and commitment to tree conservation, a permanent tribute has been planted in her honour on Bentley Road memorial area. A traditional Oak!

In support of the Royal British Legions industries a plaque has been purchased from them and is going to be installed by the tree.

Four new trees have been planted on Spital Park as part of the commitment to the Queen's work. The Parish Council is also looking to explore other tree and wildflower planting on its land.

If you are interested in being part of a voluntary working group to look after and enhance these open spaces, please email the Parish Council with your interest and contact details as a new voluntary environment group is to be set up.
