Castle Donington Parish Council is responsible for 11 parks, Cemetery, Closed churchyard, an allotment site, two sports pavilions with 11 football pitches, a rugby and cricket pitch, 4 playing fields, open spaces, a village hall, community hall and The Community Hub with meeting rooms, community café, library and large community hall as well as some aspects of street scene such as floral displays, Christmas lights, dog and litter bins on its land, undertaking mowing of the urban grass verges on behalf of the LCC as well as its own land and many other assets in the village.
