Castle Donington Cemetery

Castle Donington Cemetery is located on The Barroon (DE74 2PF) on the east side of the village. It is one of the best kept Cemeteries in Leicestershire. Carefully maintained by the Parish Council grounds staff and our ground maintenance contractor.

Did you know that near the entrance to the Cemetery is a small hedge-enclosed space with the grave markers of some 18 German soldiers who dies during the First World War at Castle Donington Prisoner of War camp? Now known as Donington Hall.
